Shoutout to the Super Earth Podcast – Honoring Malphas Zagan

Huge thanks to the producers and hosts of the Super Earth Podcast for taking the time in S2E13 – “Homecoming” to honor my friend John Henehan, known to many as Helldiver Malphas Zagan. For 10 powerful minutes, they paid tribute to a voice some might call a maybe-whistleblower — someone who tried to sound the horn after Angels Venture was turned to dust.

John joined me, along with his longtime friend and neighbor Cadet Spartan, in a sample episode to share something new with the community — a mix of roleplay mystery, fresh player reactions, and a personal take on the game a year into its chaotic, glorious life. It was our way of showing what The Wild Bunch could bring to enrich and expand the fandom. Maybe even spark a little fanon (fan canon, if I’m using that right?).

To the moderators and powers that be — please don’t take this down. I’m not asking for much.

But I am asking for something meaningful.

Proposal: The Helldiver’s Memorial – “No Longer Reinforced”

A tribute. A wall. Not for “veterans” or “fallen soldiers,” but for real-life Helldivers who shaped this community, here on Reddit or in Discord, and are no longer with us. Their name and callsign, engraved in a corner of Super Earth. Maybe as part of a future social zone, or spawning randomly near city statues, like Super Samples.

Let it be a quiet place — one we can stumble upon mid-mission, salute, and remember.
Not with grief, but with pride.
Because even in death, Helldivers are never truly extracted.

Feel free to tweak or add a link to the episode if you like. And if anyone reading this agrees, drop a comment or an upvote. Let’s give our community something lasting.

For Managed Democracy. For the remembered. For those no longer reinforced.
